Flames Deep in WHL Talent...

A glance at the Calgary Flames system confirms a huge WHL component exists. Of course the Sutters, Duane and Brent, played years ago in the 'Dub. Today, there are at least 11 WHL grads on the roster that wound up the 2008-2009 NHL season. And then, check out the cupboard, one that is currently stocked with 13 recent WHLers.
