WHL fans in Kelowna will be pleased to know that former Rockets' defenseman Kyle Cumiskey (right) has signed with the Colorado Avalanche (click here).
Also in the Avs system is Tyson Barrie of the Rockets, who scored the WHL Championship winning goal in overtime against the Calgary Hitmen at Prospera Place in early May. Barrie was seletced by Colorado in the third round of the 2009 Entry Draft last month.
