If you can believe it, the Western Hockey League regular season began on Sept. 23, nearly three months ago.
Plenty of hockey has been played since then across four Provinces and two States. It's a 72-game schedule for the 22 teams. Ten have already played at least 36 games, while four others have played 35 times.
The league shut down on Dec. 18 after play this past weekend. The rinks will be quiet until play resumes on Dec. 27.
My colleagues and I over at DUBNetwork.ca have kept a close eye on league play so far. My B.C. Division Recap has been posted right here. Just look for the British Columbia provincial flag!
And while you're visiting, take a look at some of the terrific work the gang has done so far this season!
