The CFL This Week...

Week six...here we go with a couple of doubleheaders My pick in bold!

Toronto AT Montreal: Both teams lost last week, games they were expected to win. Toronto has created most of its own grief this season with too many turnovers and too many penalties. It's seems like too much to ask for the Argos to walk into Montreal and upset the Alouettes. Montreal just has too much depth and consistency on both sides of the ball.

Saskatchewan AT B.C.: I just don't see the Lions devolving into a 1-5 football team, although the prospect delights me. The more the Lions flounder, the more likely the Riders can look ahead to battling for a top-two spot in the Western Division standings. Saskatchewan upset Calgary at home last week and is now 2-0 on the road this season. Alas, the Lions are overdue to win at B.C. Place stadium, where they have been manhandled by Hamilton and Calgary already. It'll be a tough chore for the Roughies this week.

Edmonton AT Hamilton: The Eskimos are riding a two-game winning streak into Ivor Wynne Stadium where the Tiger Cats are coming off a big win over B.C. last week. This could be the best matchup of the week. Sadly, the Jesse Lumsden storyline will be missing. Gotta like what's happening in Hamilton these days, a resurgance of excitement and support for the Tabbies. Give the home team the win!

Winnipeg AT Calgary: This is Calgary's game to lose and I just cannot see it happening to to them two weeks in a row. 'Nuff said.
