A story that shocked the hockey world during the late 1990's has re-surfaced.
Theoren Fleury has written a book - Playing With Fire - that ostencibly chronicles his entire hockey career. A standout with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL and then the Calgary Flames of the NHL, Fleury's professional credentials are certainly Hall-of-Fame worthy. However, it is his off-ice antics that will likely be sensationalized during the media coverage of his book release.
Fleury also speaks to the lurid and disgusting behaviour of his former junior coach Graham James. Subsequently, the book is destined to be cast as a tell-all account about sexual abuse and it's short- and long-term effect on Fleury.
