Jim Hiller (WHL) Interview...

Three seasons ago, Jim Hiller was hired as head coach by the expansion Chilliwack Bruins.

The club quickly developed NHL prospects Oscar Moller (Los Angeles Kings) and Mark Santorelli (Nashville Predators). Then last season, due in part to a rash of injuries, the Bruins failed to qualify for the post-season. Hiller was let go immediately after the regular season concluded.

Hiller, held in high regard by his players in Chilliwack, quickly re-surfaced in August when he was hired by the Tri City Americans. The Amerks are a veteran club this season, assembled primarily by general manager Bob Tory and long-time head coach Don Nachbaur. Nachbaur was hired by the Binghampton Senators (AHL) during the past off-season.
