This is a great hire! Congratulations to Morley Scott, who was named Director, Broadcast and Media Relations for the Vancouver Giants.
Scott is an industry veteran who I met during my days in Edmonton. He invited me to particpate in a couple of round table discussions on his sports talk show with 630CHED Radio. Morley gave me the nod on occasions when he wanted a golf perspective.
His NHL experience...he rode shotgun with Rod Phillips on Edmonton Oilers' broadcasts for years...will be a huge asset in his foray into the WHL. Morley is well-know and also knows well what the job is all about!
